Common questions about jumpstart
- What if my battery is fully dead?
- A jumpstart will get the engine running on residual current and the alternator will recharge while you drive. If the battery is too old to hold a charge, you'll need a replacement — we can quote that on the spot.
- Will I need a tow if the jump doesn't work?
- If the engine won't crank after a full jump attempt, the issue is usually the starter or fuel system — not the battery. We'll diagnose and convert to a tow with the price difference applied.
- Is it safe to jump modern cars?
- Yes. Our drivers use NOCO Boost / Schumacher portable packs with reverse-polarity protection, so there's no risk of frying your ECU.
